Donald E. Banker Fellowship
The Donald E. Banker fellowship honors 1991-1992 International President Don Banker, who held that office in the first year of a Lions entry in the Rose Parade. As president he served as our goodwill ambassador, visiting more than 100 countries telling both religious and political leaders of our Lions legacy. PIP Banker was also the first international president to ride on a Lions float in the parade.

Garry Lozaun Fellowship
Past District Governor Garry Lozaun is memorialized with this fellowship. It was PDG Lozaun who initiated the Fellowship program as one means of raising funds to finance the annual Rose Parade float entry. This Lion loved being part of the work of Lions Float Inc. from the time he joined the committee in 1995 until his death in 2008.

Wilt LeBlanc Fellowship
This fellowship is in memory of Past District Governor Wilt LeBlanc. PDG Leblanc was dedicated to the float project and diplayed great leadership skills in bringing it to fruition. He was deeply involved from the project's inception in 1991 until his death in 2002.

What's in the Package?
How Does One Purchase It?
The Int'l President and his wife will be seated at the front of the float. The other four spots are available in a package that includes up to five hotel nights, two tickets to the parade. two tickets to the Rose Bowl game, a President's reception and dinner, a breakfast with the Pasadena Host Lions that includes a tour of the float barn, a chance to help decorate, and transportation throughout the stay in California. Cost is $5,000.
The package is available to individual Lions, clubs, districts or multiple districts. To secure a seat, the purchaser must send a check made out to Lions Float, Inc. to PDG Jon Casteel, P.O.Box 26131, Anaheim, CA 92825. No reservations are taken without payment. Should there be more than four requests for seats, the packages will be allocated based on date of receipt of the check. It is recommended that checks and accompanying information be sent by regestered mail, return receipt requested.

The photo at right shows the four places available on the float. The fourth is actually a standing position in the middle of the "yard". Persons who ride need to be agile enough to climb aboard. There may be some height and weight restrictions depending on the riding position. Enlarged View
